Tourist boards are founded to promote and develop tourism in the Republic of Croatia and the economic interests of all stakeholders by providing catering and tourism services or performing other activities directly related to tourism. The Tourist Board of the City of Split is a local tourist board established as a local destination management organization for the area of the city of Split. The activities of the Split Tourist Board in the field of distribution include coordination with the regional tourist board in the implementation of operational marketing activities, preparation of destination marketing materials following defined standards, and providing support in organizing study trips of journalists and travel organizers in cooperation with the regional tourist board and Croatian national tourist board.
